The village car, the neighbourhood team, the shopping service, the afternoon activity club: there's a lot out there. But the people who need it don't always find their way to it. Babbl can shorten that path β simply through a conversation.
βI need to go to the dentist on Tuesday, but I have no way of getting there.β
Coming soon An example of where Babbl is heading.
Babbl is there for the community support network in the neighbourhood: support that is freely available and helps people stay involved.
Making local activities, social get-togethers and help easy to find β for those who don't read the local newsletter every week.
Bringing community support and support for family carers closer to residents, in plain language.
Reaching members with news and activities, and helping them with the things they often have questions about.
Booking a ride in the village car just by asking for it, without a phone call or a form.
Shopping services, meals, odd jobs: making the volunteers who are already there easier to find.
Helping residents who want to keep living independently for longer with everyday things.
This is how we're designing it. No organisations have joined yet; we're looking for partners to work it out together.
People choose for themselves which organisations they want to follow. You can then send them a message β βThe coffee morning has moved to Thursdayβ β or make an offer, such as a ride. Babbl passes it on when the user is ready for it.
If your organisation helps someone regularly, that person can add your staff to their own circle. For example, to see an appointment or pick up a request for help.
Organisations only get to see or say anything if the user gives permission for it, organisation by organisation.
Nobody can pay to be mentioned by Babbl more often or sooner. Babbl suggests what fits; the user chooses.
Only organisations we know to be who they say they are can reach people through Babbl.
An organisation sees what the user shares, never what someone says to Babbl.
Babbl helps with everyday things. It doesn't diagnose anything and doesn't give medical advice.
We develop the integrations with the organisations that will use them, so they fit the way you already work.
We're looking for organisations that want to share their ideas and help test.
We'll be in touch to arrange an introductory conversation.
